Shree Mahankal Primary School 2008 When we went to Shree Mahankal Primary School this year, it was the day before a major festival in the village, so many children were not there. But much progress has been made in obtaining new land for the school that is much higher and much farther from the river. Construction has already begun with holes being dug for the footings for the new school and stone carvers carving out stone for the bricks. In addition, a new woman teacher has been hired who will certainly serve as a role model for the girls.
